Concept Summary:
“ Fragments of order in chaos ” explores the intricate balance between order and chaos within the human experience, especially through the lens of cultural adaptation and identity evolution. This artistic concept showcases resilience and adaptability through vibrant art that addresses themes of gender, race, and displacement, challenging traditional dichotomies and promoting the freedom of identity and expression. As a narrative of a migrant artist’s journey, it illustrates the cohesion of life’s fragmented experiences into a unified story of struggle, adjustment, and harmony. Description of the project
“Fragments of order in chaos” is a project that delves into the intricate relationship between order and chaos within the human condition, with a special focus on how individuals adapt culturally and evolve their identities. Through this project, I aim to use art as a medium to engage with profound social issues such as gender, race, and the challenges of displacement. This artistic exploration confronts traditional binaries and champions the liberation of personal and collective identities.
The project is both a narrative and a visual representation of a migrant artist’s odyssey—a journey marked by fragmented experiences that slowly merge into a coherent tale of struggle, adaptation, and eventual harmony. Each artwork within the series utilizes dynamic compositions and employs vivid colors that not only inject a sense of optimism but also symbolize the fluidity and ever-changing nature of identity in the face of global cultural transformations.
At the heart of “Fragments of order in chaos” is the portrayal of the resilience and adaptability of the human spirit. The project seeks to break down the conventional narratives surrounding migration and cultural integration, replacing them with a richer, understanding of these experiences. It challenges viewers to reconsider the concept of identity as fixed and encourages them to embrace a perspective that sees identity as fluid and continually evolving.
This body of work serves as an invitation for viewers to reflect on their own experiences of interconnectedness and the fluid nature of their beliefs and identities. It advocates for a future that is inclusive and diverse, recognizing the strength found in such diversity. Through “Fragments of order in chaos,” I hope to inspire conversations that foster understanding and appreciation of the complex tapestry of human experiences and identities in our interconnected world.

Black is neither yours, nor mine, 40x30cm(290x320cm), 70 Drawings, Acrylic on paper, 2024.
The process is very intuitive, after drawing about ~ 70 pieces, the next step is composing it through mind mapping. Puzzling it together, gives the artist always space to rethink and change the way of seeing.
